TransAlps Days 1-4 Photos

[Read about Day 1, Day 2 and the quick summary of Days 3, 4 & 5]

Day 6 was a solid success, especially after hitting some serious lows on Day 5. Ryan and Ben braved the longest and steepest climbs of the journey and finished in 7th place (men’s teams) today. They have 47 miles left to go over the next two days: a marathon tomorrow and then a final 21-mile stretch to the finish line in the Dolomites region of Italy.

I am so incredibly proud of what they have accomplished thus far and happy for the opportunity they have had to experience the raw beauty of the Alps. Thank you to all of you out there following their journey with me. Their strength and resilience inspires me to get out there and run a little bit further and a little bit faster than I think I can.

While we wait for their full race reports, here are the photos of the first half of their Alpine journey (maybe they’ll switch places so Ben runs with the camera and takes pics of Ryan on the 2nd half!). Stay tuned for continued summary updates and then the full reports and photos soon.
